What is meditation?

An ancient expression for meditation is dhjana, which means complete awareness. When the difference between external and internal perception disappears, it is called dhjana. When all the objects of your perception become as one, it is dhjana.
Meditation is a state of opening one's mind to higher levels of awareness and releasing deeply rooted stress. Closing the eyes and withdrawing the mind's attention from the senses and sense objects is only a preparation for meditation, not the meditation itself. Meditation is the experience of becoming more aware of your inner consciousness.
Meditation brings strength, security and health, aligning one's actions with the natural law. The goal of meditation is to achieve the full potential of the body and spirit. Our own consciousness is a home of all the laws of nature. The silent level of awareness is the basis for all activities. To live productively, a person must meditate regularly, in order to align the quiet and the active consciousness.
Meditation practice is not a physical exercise. This is a method to achieve complete peace and absolute stability of the body. There are three forms of meditation: the sound (mantra), the form, and the symbol meditation.

Mantra meditation
Mantra meditation derives from the ancient Siddhas and is part of the Mantra Yoga. Siddhas were ancient masters of yoga, who have discovered the secrets of this knowledge through deep meditation experiences. The word mantra is derived from the root "man", meaning to think and "tra" which comes from the word "trai", meaning to liberate. Mantra relates to releasing the man from the slavery of the patterns of his own life.
According to the philosophy of the ancient Siddhas, mantra is a power that can be used for the awakening of our spiritual consciousness. Mantra basis is a sound. The sound can be audible and inaudible, the coarse and the subtle. Slow, medium and fast sound waves are being spread throughout the entire universe. Medium speed waves are audible to human beings, while the slow and the fast waves are not. When we say the mantra aloud, it takes a coarse form of sound, and when murmured or repeated soundlessly, it takes on a higher frequency and becomes the subtle sound. In this way, mantra can affect both material and higher levels, depending on the way it is used.
When you make a sound, and increase its frequency, it will affect the inner realm of consciousness. Just like throwing a pebble into the quiet, peaceful lake. This action will create waves, forming the circles which spread further and further, depending on the weight of a pebble. In the same way, when repeating a mantra, its sound affects the awareness creating waves, which help the mind to expand.
Bija (seed) mantras are very powerful sounds with a strong and immediate effect. There are millions of bija mantras, but only a few of them are known. Each bija mantra has its own element, and each element is connected with a certain center in the body. In this course, you will be initiated into bija mantra, which will be given to you by the qualified teacher of Divine Energy Park.

Effects of meditation on the daily life and activities
Mantra meditation releases our deep-rooted stress and tension. By meditating, we develop higher levels of consciousness and clear our physical, emotional and mental body. Repetition of mantra removes the desires that blur our vision, such as anger, fear, greed, and lust. Effects of meditation will manifest in your daily activities. Sound vibrations in the universe are very important for our physical and mental well-being. With meditation our life becomes integrated, and a person acquires the ability to maintain a balance between inner and outer life. Mantra yoga has a great cleansing power and everyone can experience it.
The one who knows how to meditate properly, is the master of himself. Therefore, meditation should be understood as a science, which aims to make you the master of yourself, of your physical, mental, emotional, intellectual, as well as your spiritual evolution. The man is a combination of different forces, and each force has its own laws of evolution. A merge of all these forces is what you are. When you start to meditate, you initiate and accelerate the process of evolution in every form of your existence and every dimension of your personality.
It was also discovered that regular meditation practice can improve intelligence, which is very important for children. The most important task of this new age is to educate every individual about the development of consciousness. Education should be improved completely. Knowledge has always been the basis for education. Children should be attracted to schools, they should run to school gladly. The task of meditation is to gain wider ability of learning and memory, through deep relaxation and the experience of transcendental consciousness.

Sacrificing and meditation
When you start to meditate, it is not necessary to sacrifice anything. Your life is still taking place as before. Your habits (good or bad) are going to change spontaneously. You should meditate twice a day, morning and evening. Morning meditation is practiced after your morning hygiene, before breakfast. Afternoons or evenings, you can meditate at your convenience, before meals.

Meditation is neither religious nor sectarian
Meditation is neither religious nor sectarian, but a technique that frees the mind from stress and tension. Meditation is a path for the evolution of the entire human race.

Impact on the environment
When a person meditates, he or she is able to create positive vibrations in the minds of others.

Who can practice meditation?
Meditation can be practiced by everyone, regardless of age, sex, religion or nation. If you are a minor, you will need a permition from your parents.

Omkara and the invoking of cosmic energy

OM is a royal mantra, from which everything originates. It opens every path; enlightenment, wealth and mental development of consciousness. Omkara connects us to the cosmic energy and awakens our dormant kundalini. It is like a zero, a dialing code of the universe. Sometimes it takes two or more zeros (you should keep ringing until someone answers the phone), it all depends on our physiology and our mind. This is a simple, yet powerful way to achieve all of our goals and desires. With this mantra, you can achieve everything.

Invoking of cosmic energy is the oldest solar breathing technique that allows an individual to charge with the powerful energy, and gain a better quality of life. This technique will bring you a great energy increase in your body and mind, and connect you to the universe.
By attending our basic course, you will be introduced and initiated into these two powerful techniques, which were revealed for the first time by Shri Shivakumar Swamiji.

Chakras and everyday life

Chakras are the main gears and control centers of the human body. These are subtle centers, located along the spine, and are connected with major neural plexus and endocrine glands in the body. In most people these centers are dormant, but can be activated by practicing specific exercises and meditation. Chakra activation awakens different abilities in psychological and mental body, and enables the individual to open his or her mental potential.
There are seven basic chakras:

Muladhara
Muladhara is the lowest chakra, known also as the root chakra. In muladhara the primary energy - kundalini shakti is seated. Kundalini rests in the form of the snake, deeply sleeping, wrapped around lingam. It is the source of all energy in the man and the universe: sexual, emotional, mental, psychological and spiritual.. The goal of yoga is to awaken this energy and direct it toward the higher chakras in order to melt with pure consciousness. Muladhara chakra is associated with the element of earth and regulates instincts and sexual organs.

Swadhisthana
Above the muladhara, in the part of the spine where the sexual organs are located, lies the swadhisthana. On the physical level, it is connected with the excretory and reproductive systems. On a deeper level, this is the center of the unconscious mind, the collective consciousness, the storage of all samskara and memories of our ancestors. This is the center of our most primitive and deepest instincts. When this chakra is cleansed, a man can rise above the animal nature. Swadhisthana chakra is associated with the element of water and regulates sexual organs.

Manipura
Manipura chakra is located in the solar plexus. This chakra is the center of fire. It radiates vitality and energy. Solar plexus is responsible for digestion and absorption of nutritional elements. This is the location of central organs that are very important for the whole body (stomach, liver, and pancreas). If the solar plexus is strong, the body will be strong and healthy. On the physical level, this chakra controls the adrenal glands. Manipura chakra is the center of vitality for both mental and physical body, and it is connected with the element of fire.

Anahata
Anahata chakra is located at the heart level. It is also called the heart chakra. On the physical level, this chakra is associated with the heart and lungs and is responsible for the entire respiratory and cardiovascular system in the body. This chakra is associated with the element of air and also with love.

Vishuda
Vishuddha chakra is located in the throat. This is the center of purification. On the physical level, this chakra influences vocal cords, larynx and thyroid gland. This chakra is associated with the element of akasha and is regarded as the intellectual chakra.

Ajna
This chakra is known as the "third eye". It is located in the area between the eyebrows. In ajna, yogi becomes a divine manifestation, embodying all of the elements in their purest form or essence. Ajna chakra is connected with the pineal gland. It is a bridge between the physical, mental and psychological bodies. Awakening of this chakra, develops the supernatural abilities as clairvoyance, telepathy, etc., and also improves other mental abilities: intelligence, memory, will and concentration.

Bindu
At the top of the head, there is a point called bindu. It is a very mysterious mental center. It is known as the soma chakra. This chakra is associated with the semen production in men. In the ancient science of yoga, this was a very important center, used for observation of mental sounds that are being manifested there.

Sahasrara
Sahasrara is not really a chakra, it is more a seat of the highest awareness. It is visualized as a lotus flower with a thousand petals. When kundalini awakens, it passes up through chakras to sahasrara and finally joins with a source from which it was created. Matter and energy merge into the pure consciousness.

One can think of chakras as wheels of the mind, living in the wishing forest. Wishes are, like wheels, a driving force. Each chakra is a playground of desires, showing its impact on people who are driven by desires of a certain chakra. During their lifetime, people live in this forest, thinking and understanding life situations from the point of view of the chakra that feels the most comfortable to them. Each chakra becomes a stage for the psychological drama of electrochemical energy, expressed as the behavior of the human beings.

Qualities and obstacles of the mind

The mind is a very powerful tool that can affect the whole body. Every second, millions of cells are being born and dieing. If your mind is positive, you will have active and long living cells in your body. Where there is happiness and compassion, more of the healthy cells will be produced. Each cell in the body is being controlled by the mind. Negative thoughts create unhealthy cells, which live very shortly. Therefore, a positive mind is very important for us and our body.

Where and how to learn meditation?

At the course, you will be initiated into the ancient technique of mantra meditation, which you can continue to practice independently at home. Mantra should be given to you by a guru. You can not determine the right mantra for yourself from the book. Just as the trigger of a gun needs to hit the bullet capsule to initiate the shot, the guru must initiate mantra in order to achieve the explosion of consciousness. Only the mantra represents the relationship between the guru and the student. When the guru gives mantra to someone, this person becomes his student. The student is the one who works with the mantra, and evolves through its help. The most important thing is the regularity in your practice and the results will follow.

The course also includes the initiation into the invoking of cosmic energy, ancient breathing techniques, psychophysical exercises and exercises for body rejuvenation, creative visualization (relaxation exercises and treatments for stress and drug addiction).
