What is Cobra Breath?

Cobra breath is a technique that has been long guarded in secret, due to its great power. This mystical breathing technique has been passed down orally from Mulaguru Babaji Nagaraj to Agasty Rishi, Swamiji Shivananda, Satyananda Saraswati to several western teachers.
By practicing Cobra breath, we consciously activate kundalini energy and our pineal gland. It is considered to be the fastest known method of self development, and has thus been given a name the Royal pranayama. In many cultures, a snake is considered to be a symbol of Kundalini and the expansion of consciousness. When practicing this pranayama, you can experience an opening of your mind through the breath, like cobra's cocoon; the snake's energy awakens and the cocoon of our consciousness opens and stimulates our sleeping brain. Cobra breath opens all the chakras and nadis and accelerates the development of consciousness. A few minutes of practicing Cobra breath, introduces us into a deep state of consciousness, as if you have meditated for several hours.
Anyone can get the knowledge about this technique and develop into a perfect being. The goal, as well as the right, of every person is to develop their full mental potential. Moreover, the purpose of such a strong technique is the ability to overcome five limitations: "narai" - gray hair, "tirai" - blurred vision, "muppu" - old age, "noy" - disease, "maranam" - death. Tradition of Siddhas believes that it is possible to maintain the eternal youth.

3. Third degree of Cobra breath opens the heart and the throat chakras, and awakens Kundalini.
4. Fourth initiation into Cobra breath teaches you how to achieve the contact with your guru.
Cobra breath and the dormant brain

Modern science has divided the brain into ten segments, nine of which are dormant, and only one is active. Everything you know, do, or think, comes from this one tenth of the brain. The rest of the brain is considered to be inactive or dormant.
In yoga, the brain is divided into six areas. Qualities or manifestations of the brain are also six-folded, and they manifest themselves depending on the activation of the corresponding area of the brain. Active part of the brain uses the energy of both ida and pingala, while the other 90% uses only pingala's energy. Pingala is life, ida is consciousness. This means that dormant parts of the brain do have prana, but lack the awareness.
We know how to awaken and develop emotions, intellect, memory, or passion, but we do not know how to awaken sleeping areas of the brain. To activate these dormant parts, we need to activate our chakras, because different areas of the brain are connected to specific chakras. Some parts are connected to muladhara, some to swadhisthana, manipura, etc. It can be compared to switching on the light. When you want to switch the light on or off, you do not touch the bulb. You only press the switch that is located somewhere else.
Many people throughout the world have awakened the dormant energy: saints, poets, painters, warriors, writers. With the activation of the dormant brain, not only visions, but also creative intelligence and awakened various abilities, begin to manifest. When the center of your brain, where transcendental music is created, gets activated, you become a genius. We all want to overcome the limitations of the body, mind and emotions, but we are unable to do something about it.
By practicing Cobra breath, you awaken the non-active parts of your brain, and speed up your evolution.
The influence of Cobra breath in daily life

Heaviness and uncertainty will disappear, and you will gain a new energy to perform your daily activities and tasks. It will enable you to improve your relationships and to better care for your family and friends. Cobra breath improves the memory and concentration. It makes an artist a better artist, and a doctor a better doctor.
Mahaavatar Babaji Nagaraj

Mahaavatar Babaji Nagaraj was born in the year 203, and has been initiated into the secrets of kundalini yoga by the ancient Siddha Agasty Rishi. In Sanskrit, Nagaraj means "the king of snakes", and "avatar" means "descent or incarnation of God in human form". "Siddhas" are those who have achieved mastery over death.
His body has not aged since he was sixteen, when he defeated death and achieved the supreme state of enlightenment. Completely devoted to an intense practice of yoga, he has achieved soruba samadhi (physical immortality).
